I’m Abby Afriyie, and I’m a designer of expressions.

 

I believe in swimming in your own direction. In a world where fashion often follows a single streamline—where lust, identity, and creativity have been silenced or diluted—I choose something different. We’re making clothes too fast, giving them too short a life. I believe in slowing down, looking inward, and choosing garments that feel like truth. Something you wear with pride. With presence.

 

Where I grew up, fashion had no rules.
Sure, tradition had its say—but fashion? Fashion ran wild and free.

 

Boys wore pink. Women wore shorts.
Colors blazed neon bright, catching fire in the sun.
We had no factories—only artisans, crafters, and stylists.
Expression wasn’t manufactured. It was handmade.

 

That spirit raised me. It shaped how I see design—not as trend or product, but a language of expression.
I believe style is how we speak before we open our mouths.

 

As a designer, I see life as one long dress-up.
And at the party, even if we never spoke—
you knew I was there.
